Yes, it's hard to tell. But he actually dug Assassin's Creed.

That is why I love him. He tells crap as it is. He isn't afraid to speak his mind about the studios, dev teams, anyone. Unlike IGN and Gamestop, he isn't milking corporate dollars from their coffers.

Oh, just another graphical example. These are identical screenshots.
The first is taken with Guild Wars max graphics and 4xAA, post process effects on and best filtering enabled. (Warning: Very high rez, 1920x1200 in link)
http://img187.imageshack.us/my.php?image=gw343yz0.jpg
This second one, is lowest settings, Best Filtering and post effects are off. No AA. (Warning, again high rez 1920x1200 link)
http://img338.imageshack.us/my.php?image=gw344jy8.jpg
Hmmm, SLIGHT difference wouldn't you say?

LOL I'm still laughing at the review
All I can say is he didn't play GW it was some other game he tried
OR
He was a gold seller or duper and got caught out and decided to get his revenge by writing a "Review" ?

It sounds like he didn't even bother to read anything about the game, played it for an hour then wrote a review. I probably wouldn't enjoy the game very much if I were left to my own devices to figure out every little nuance. Plus, if he's ever played an MMO before, he should have been able to figure out the "red and blue bars" you have to "manage".

Just a random blog by a random person who appears to have little knowledge of how the game works.

Just remember that any idiot can place a review on the internet, but that doesn't mean what they say has any basis in reality. I have always had a short attention span when it comes to pc games and I have been playing GW for over 2 years and still am having fun. If that reviewer played more than a few hours I would be surprised. In my opinion that review is just a bunch of verbal vomit.

Everyone knows the game slows down for a bit around Fort Ranik to Gates of Kryta. It's where all my friends quit and where most fail.
Besides, who cares what people think.

...was he playing the same game?
Those who can, do.
Those who can't, review.
Complaints about exp bars being green? Oh noes, "managing" red and blue bars? Has he never played games or is he smoking some wacky tobaccy?
EDIT to add:
Saying how helpful the GW community is leads me to believe he was not playing GW. I don't think I've seen much helpful other than rare exceptions since the month after release. Or else he never left presear and was unbelievably lucky in who he encountered.

That, sir, is why you failed.
That just made me loose any respect I had for this guy. Seriously, has this guy never heard of the idea of managing your health and energy?
NO WAI!! Humans adapt? This is preposterous! [/sarcasm]
My review of the review: EPIC FAIL.

The game boasted beautiful landscapes and great graphics. But when I played it, I was disappointed.

I stopped reading there. I think he was playing with graphics set at "fastest".
